    Our room was cleaner than a whistle and had this lovely view of the mountains right from the balcony. Plus, the kitchenette was a real perk for makin' breakfast fit for a king! The BBQ facilities? Just perfect for some evening cookouts!

    The Executive Studio felt spacious with a super comfortable king bed, great for a restful night after exploring. The bathroom was clean and well-sized. A lovely patio outside was perfect for enjoying the fresh air. The cute lady at the front desk made check-in smooth and personable. I noticed some noise from the main road, which could be distracting at times. Although the double-glazed windows helped a bit, better soundproofing would enhance the experience. Plenty of off-street parking was a bonus. The mattress was a little too soft for my liking, but that's just personal preference. I'd love to return after some updates, especially regarding sound insulation.

    Excellent customer service - an introductory e-mail before we arrived in Kaikoura providing highlights of 'what to do' in Kaikoura. Clean rooms; comfy beds; groovy shower; free internet access.

    Insufficient bench space near the bathroom sink to leave your toiletries.

    Comfortable beds and great advice

    The warm welcome was just the start. Our spacious unit was peaceful, and the kitchenette made it easy to enjoy home-cooked meals. Sitting outside in the sun was good.

    The proximity to the busy highway made it a bit noisy at times, especially when trying to enjoy the outdoor area. A room further from the road might be quieter.

    The friendly staff were very helpful in letting us know what was around the area. Their unique shower was also a highlight of the stay.

    It had kitchen facilities and utensils but no hotplate just a microwave.

    The hosts were super friendly, and the room had these awesome comfy chairs. Cooking facilities were great. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with views of the ocean. Slight hassle with the alarm, but overall a chill spot!

    it was recently renovated, soundproof and with an awesome view. the location was magnificent and amazing for exploring this quiet area, close to the train station/town centre, and restaurants close by.

    The kitchenette was great for making our meals, and we loved the outdoor sitting areas, perfect for evening chats. The friendly woman at reception, offering great local tips and helping us feel welcome.

    The room layout was a bit odd, making it hard to maneuver with our luggage.

    Hotel staff was very knowledgeable about the town in terms of activities and restaurants. Location is also right next to supermarket which is fantastic. Lastly, I really appreciate the free Internet access from our room.

    Shower or the "steam box" was out of control.

    Friendly helpful staff. Cleanliness. Great reception area, nice and warm and welcoming on a cold and wet evening.

    Green interior in room, bit cold in appearance, heater controls confusing. Luxury shower very nice but unnecessarily complicated to use. Little bit disappointed in design, had upstairs beach front room but no window to take advantage of view
